What better way to get to know Savannah than from a horse-drawn carriage? Our Public History Tours are 45-50 minutes long and meander through about 8 of Savannah's iconic squares. Sit back and enjoy a fully-narrated tour focused on history and culture, with some local recommendations along the way. You're welcome to show our horses some love after the tour too!
Adults $35 (12 & over)
Children $15 (5-11)
Lap child FREE (4 & below)
Soak in Savannah's historic beauty in style on a Private Tour.
Private Tours are also 45-50 minutes long and cover about 8 squares, but have a personal touch. Work with your tour guide to elevate your experience: a history tour, a casual discussion, or a quiet ride through the city, we can make it happen. You can even add a dozen long stemmed roses at checkout for that special someone.
Starting at $160 (2 Adults)
$20 per additional person
(4 adults fit comfortably on our private carriages)
Looking for more than roses? Allow us to be a part of your Special Occasion. We offer horse-drawn carriage rides for just about any big day; proposals, weddings, you name it!
Please note: You MUST call in to arrange a Special Occasion.

At Savannah Carriage Tours, our horses are our #1 priority. They are family to us, and we pride ourselves in the level of care we provide our herd. We work with an equine vetrinarian and a dedicated draft farrier to be sure our horses stay in tip top shape.
Even outside of medical care, our horses come first. They are given a locally-sourced and specialized diet, open, shady space to run free, routine grooming sessions, and endless affection from our loving staff.

We consistently monitor the temperature outdoors as well as our horses internal temperatures to ensure that our horses NEVER work in extreme conditions. Our horses get a cool hose rinse between tours if temperatures reach 85 degrees, and we head for the barn if it gets much hotter than that. Our horses are also offered fresh water before, during, and after every tour.
A little rain never hurt anyone; if it's sprinkling out, we continue tours. If it begins to pour or if we hear thunder we head in and cancel tours.
If you have questions regarding a scheduled tour and weather, don't hesitate to call.
Please note: cancellations must be made by direct contact with our office.
